IV Therapy Re-Certification

Description

This course is designed for the Mississippi LPN currently certified in IV therapy.  This course consists of ten (10) one-hour units. Each unit will review and refresh the knowledge the IV certified LPN in current principles and practice of intravenous therapy. Upon completion of the ten (10) units, the LPN will test their knowledge with an online exam. PREREQUISITE(S):  Must have completed an approved IV Therapy educational program of study and clinical experience in the Expanded Role of IV Therapy for the Licensed Practical Nurse in Mississippi. Must have a basic understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and the internet.
